Kathy Hosler always knew she wanted to work with animals and in 2001 her dream came true when she built her Animal Ark.

I know pets are your family members and I wanted a place where pet-parents could feel comfortable leaving their pet-kids. A place where it would be affordable, where all the walks, playtime and love are FREE.

My philosophy for the Animal Ark is simple – provide each individual pet with a safe, clean, and loving environment. A place that pet parents can afford and would love for their pet kids to stay time after time.

We are located on 18 acres of woodland surround by pure nature. All our guests receive lots of one-on-one attention and are walked several times each day. Inside your pet will stay in a comfort controlled environment where each individual is provided with a comfy cot & awesome music. The canine indoor/outdoor runs are large enough so that families can snuggle up together or play just like as if they were at home. You are encouraged to bring your pet-kids favorite blankets, pillows, toys, and treats to make them feel even more at home.

Outside our 7′ high fenced in area provides a safe place with lots of off-leash room to romp, play, and quite often have the pleasure of meeting some of the local wildlife. Each of our canine guests are walked and provided outdoor exercise every 3-4 hours for potty breaks. Our Feline friends have two large areas with lots of window space to bird watch or just lay back and soak up some sunshine and allowed roaming time to play and satisfy their curiosity.

Whether your pet-family member is a dog, a cat, a rabbit, ferret, or some other type of critter, if its a pet to you then its probably welcome at the Animal Ark.

Animals that are exceptionally matted or proving difficult and requiring more than one groomer for their services may be charged a Behavior Fee and further discussion on how to remedy any issues.

We appreciate knowing if your pet has fleas or ticks before their appointment. This helps us protect other pets.

If your pet is found to have fleas they will automatically be treated and you will be charged accordingly.

Boarding

Dogs are $25.00 per day. Add $15.00 for each additional dog if using the same Run
Dogs are $25.00 per day. Add $20.00 for each additional dog if NOT using the same Run
Cats and most other small animals are $5.00 per day.
Special weekly / monthly & multi-pet discount rates available.
AFTER HOURS – Clients requiring after-hour service will be charged a fee of $20. Clients receiving this privlege MUST be approved by Kathy in advance.
DAY CARE – Daily rate is $25.00 per day.
